The leaders of old have much in common

This week The Blowfly has been experimenting with stretching his psychic powers.

You see, normally he can only channel one politician at a time---and from the shoulder!

It is , after all, tiring work trying to get inside the brain of a politician.

But The Blowfly was told by an experienced medium that he should challenge himself with his extraordinary 'gift'.

So The Blowfly this week sat himself down near a quiet bin and tried to channel two politicians----- remotely!

He managed to pick up the thoughts of Malcolm Turnbull again.This how it came through:

"Oh dear me I could run our party better than this goose......I have a vision for the party..... I have the intellect........ I have the wealth...... My wife was also a strong support.......I love the world stage.......Why did my colleagues move against me?...... They don't understand me at all!...... This country was meant for me and I was meant for it.......If I hang around long enough I reckon I'll get another go at this gig.......I'm such an affable character really.........But some of my colleagues can't seem to stand me........Jesus, female politicians can be bitches........and what's wrong with an ETS?.........there are plenty of people going to make a lot of money out of that thing------especially in New York!........and I really loved Joe Hockey!........we seemed to work so well together......but now he doesn't give me the time of day......I think he must be jealous!........I just wish I'd listened to my wife more about political matters......she told me that I should be listening more to my colleagues and accommodating their perspectives......if I'd done that I'd be Prime Minister today.......oh woe is me!"

Then The Blowfly managed to pick up Kevin Rudd during a quiet moment on his overseas jaunt. It came through like this:
